On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Luxembourg City Library, in collaboration with the Theatres of the City and the city's "Equal Opportunities" service, is organizing a scenic reading. This evening highlights works by international poetesses. Their texts reflect thoughts, emotions, and experiences – they write to express themselves, reflect, love, fight, and live. Nicole Max will give voice to a selection of these poems, musically accompanied by Judith Lecuit on cello and staged by Claire Wagener. This event pays tribute to freedom and to all women who claim it with their words.
