Cyrano, Phèdre and the others…
World premiere All that we have always wanted to play and never had the chance to perform... Isabelle Bonillo, the actress, speaks for herself and for all the actresses and actors who, at a certain stage of their career, look back and see all the magnificent roles that eluded them. Isabelle Bonillo looks back, not with regret or nostalgia, but to embrace all these famous roles of classic literature that she revives in her own way: engaging with the audience to reveal whether these classic masterpieces can stem from our life experiences. Isabelle Bonillo will present a selection of classical monologues from the repertoire, placed within their context, along with texts describing the everyday life of actors. Characters such as Phèdre, Antigone, Le Cid, L’Avare, Ruy Blas, Psyché, Macbeth, Médée, Lucrèce Borgia, Cyrano de Bergerac, and many more will come alive with iconic texts given their contextual vibrance. Isabelle Bonillo, from a family of actors, returns to the TNL with legendary passion, blending humor with contemplation, to render classical works from Molière, Racine to Karl Valentin.
