The city of Luxembourg and its fortress have been depicted many times since the 16th century. City Visions approaches the subject playfully, as a visual experience of the city’s evolution over the centuries and from various perspectives. Drawing from the museum’s collections, the exhibition highlights the “visions” of the city of Luxembourg – from early modern panoramas to abstract graffiti, including picturesque urban landscapes. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the exhibits, with activities suitable for children and adults: games, puzzles, toys, tactile models, painting stations, and a creative studio. With its wide range of images and interactive elements, this exhibition offers an entertaining, curious, and educational visit.
