Roundtables is a programme created by Mudam Luxembourg and Casino – Forum d'art contemporain, designed to be a friendly space for discussing contemporary art. The goal is to demystify contemporary art, encourage dialogue, and foster an environment conducive to genuine interaction.
Each session focuses on a specific topic, with guest speakers and team members from both institutions responding to the question at hand. After the presentations, the discussion is opened up to the public in an informal format to encourage active participation. Attendees are invited to ask questions, engage with the topic, and share perspectives, encouraging meaningful exchanges and network building within the Luxembourg art community.
The first session focuses on the artists' perspective and subjective experience of participating in a contemporary art biennial, including preparation, career impact, and the meaning of representing Luxembourg at the Venice Biennale.
