During this visit, you will have the unique opportunity to meet the fortress commander, Adam Sigmund von Thüngen. As most soldiers are deserting, he is desperately looking for new recruits. You will learn what life is like in a fortress town, with judges, merchants, craftsmen, brewers, and wall shooters. What are the conditions to become a good soldier? What does a soldier earn, how does one become an officer? Dare to meet Sigmund, but be careful not to end up stuck as a new recruit in the city!
