More than 20 years after their debut as a duo, following Porridge Days and Butter in my brain (described as a masterpiece in Le Monde, 4 F Télérama, nominated in 2018 for the Victoires du Jazz 2018 awards), not to mention Room Service (with the Spoonbox quartet), Claudia Solal and Benjamin Moussay are back with a brand new programme, Punk Moon, the fourth instalment of their collaboration. Recorded at Studio Sextan in November 2023, the album will be released in March 2025 on the Jazzdor series label. For this entirely original repertoire, Claudia has written ten English-language lyrics with evocative titles (Slow War, Tomorrow I Sleep, Battle Dress, Punk Moon, etc.). The result is a collection of orchestral pop songs, lunar and chimerical, music in orbit... Art songs for free music without borders.
