Exhibition | What is the role of women in society?
An immersive textile exhibition in three movements. Enter, participate, observe, feel, and listen.
Textile artist, costume designer, and researcher in the language of textiles, Tatiana Bifouri explores material as a living territory: a space of memory, resistance, and rebirth. Her exhibition "What is the role of women in society?" is rooted in an intimate and radical experience: a career change after burnout, a creative rebirth seen through the lens of gender and social constraints.
Through nine silhouettes, the artist questions the feminine condition and its invisible tensions in three movements: the multifunctional woman, liberation, and carrying. Here, textile becomes an emotional and political language: folds, raw edges, and seams tell what words conceal. Between sculpture and clothing, intimate and universal, Tatiana Bifouri builds an engaged and sensitive work: a poetic journey through the feminine condition, a tribute to those who hold society up, often in silence.
