The Val d’Attert Tourist Office, Ell Tourist Office, and Kulturmillen Beckerich are organizing a moonlight walk starting from the village of Ell, as part of cross-border cooperation in the belgo-luxembourgish Attert valley. Several musical performances are planned along the route. Participants are asked not to bring flashlights or use their phone’s flashlight in order to fully enjoy the unique moonlight atmosphere. This initiative is supported by the Parc naturel de la Vallée de l’Attert and financially backed by the five communes of the valley: Attert, Beckerich, Ell, Préizerdaul, and Redange.
Good to know
Two routes are offered: 8.7 km and 4.5 km.
Departure by bus for the 8.7 km at 6pm in front of the Chez Margot café (near the cultural centre) in Ell.
The 4.5 km race starts from the same place at 7pm.
Price: €7 adults, €3 children (includes bus transport, a wine or hot chocolate on the route and a drink at the end).
Bring warm clothes and good walking shoes.
