Round-table: Criminalised, digitSurveilled, Resilient: Defending our Civic Space Against Evolving Re
The stifling of dissent through anti-democratic laws and the expansion of digital surveillance systems is causing a shrinking civic space worldwide. This enables the targeting, silencing, and criminalisation of human rights defenders, as well as allowing authoritarian states to extend repression beyond their borders. This round-table aims to raise awareness about these concerning trends. Organised by four Luxembourg NGOs: Action Solidarity Third World, Amnesty International Luxembourg, Comité pour une Paix Juste au Proche Orient, and Les Amis du Tibet, Luxembourg.
