Subject, script, storyboard: the film before shooting

The conference will illustrate the stages of filmmaking: the idea, the project, and the drafting. It will explore the nature of these intellectual processes and their relationship to cinematic expression.
The evening will be followed by a "snack & drink" interlude and a screening of:
• "I'm hungry, I'm cold" (France 1984 | Chantal Akerman | documentary | original version | 60')
• Screenplay for "Sauve qui peut (la vie)" (France 1980 | Jean-Luc Godard | documentary | original version | 21')
