Repair Cafés are volunteer meetings where participants work together to repair their broken items: IT (hardware & software), furniture, electrical appliances, games, textiles/clothing, bicycles, mechanical devices, etc.
For touchscreen or smartphone devices, services will usually be limited to diagnostics and advice. It is recommended to have these repaired by specialized shops with the required tools and expertise.
Before coming:
- Check device power supply (indicator light, charged batteries, power cord condition)
- Perform basic maintenance (empty filters, descale, etc)
Bring with you:
- All elements necessary to test your item
- Replacement part if already identified
Please note: some specialized repairers might not be available on the event day.
