Louis Pasteur! We know his name, but do we really know the man?
Philoléthos, a "friend of truth", decides to investigate to discover more about him.
Meeting his wife Marie, his daughter Marie-Louise, and his loyal collaborators, as well as other figures such as the young Joseph Meister, the first person to be vaccinated against rabies, he gradually lifts the veil that has covered the statue for over a century. He enters into the scientist's private world, delving into the secrets of his laboratory. He witnesses the struggles Pasteur had to face against his opponents, and the doubts that tormented him.
For beyond the surface image, we find a man with strengths and weaknesses, a man who fully experienced his emotions and feelings, a man who stubbornly sought throughout his life what he believed to be the truth.
