Mammals in our regions are almost exclusively nocturnal. It is more common to detect their presence by the traces they leave in the environment than by direct contact. This outing aims to teach where to look and how to interpret these tracks. The activity may be extended into the evening to try to observe one of the featured animals of the day.
Good to know
Suitable for young people and adults. Please bring: long trousers, a picnic, binoculars and possibly a small birdwatching seat for those who wish to stay until evening.
