Françoise Nyssen, a leading figure in French publishing and the driving force behind Actes Sud, founded in 1978 by Hubert Nyssen and Christine Le Boeuf, is a key player in cultural promotion in France, particularly in Arles. She fosters creativity across numerous literary, community, and educational spheres (Actes Sud, Rencontres d'Arles, Avignon Festival, Aurillac Street Festival, Fondation des Alliances Françaises, Association du Méjan, École du Domaine du Possible). Publisher of over 10,000 books and author of one, Françoise Nyssen will discuss her publishing work with Ian de Toffoli, a Luxembourgish author and publisher, during this event.
