As part of the exhibition “Soft Power: The Brussels Way of Making the City”, the Re-Box! workshop invites both children and adults to reconsider architecture: instead of building new, how can we transform what already exists?
Each participant receives a small cardboard box representing a building. Using recycled materials, printed textures and elements to cut out, participants imagine how to improve the building: add color, nature, light, or even create new uses.
The workshop explores in a simple and fun way the main idea of Soft Power: small creative interventions can change our perception of the built environment. Re-Box! encourages observation, invention, and transformation, while raising awareness for more regenerative architecture.
