The first session of our "Creative Encounters" series focuses on the artwork "The Blue House (Das blaue Haus, 2000)" by Edi Hila. We will explore themes of home, architecture, and emotional structures through collage, mixed media (paper, textures, reclaimed materials), and painting with fluid markers.
Participants are invited to create their own collage inspired by Hila’s works, which depict broken or changing spaces, to reflect on what 'home' means to them.
At the end, individual collages will be assembled into a collective installation – a 'City of Emotions' – showcasing each participant's vision of home.
Good to know
Beginner-friendly workshop. Techniques used: collage and painting with fluid markers. Opportunity to attend other sessions in the series to discover new artworks and techniques.
