1970s. Jeanne runs away from her high mountain home to reach the city. In the studio where she takes refuge, the young girl falls under the spell of Cristina, the enigmatic star of the film La Reine des Neiges, her favorite fairy tale. A troubling relationship develops between the actress and the girl. The film, inspired by early cinema images and the crystalline force of silent film, orchestrates a kind of magnetic ballet where the magical and artifice plunge Jeanne and the viewers into a disturbed state of perception. There is Méliès and Cocteau in this work, whose beauty lies in disrupting reality. (La Septième Obsession)
