Come to the "small seed exchange" organised by SEED, CELL and SOS-Faim in Teranga, Schifflange!
As every year, SEED and the citizen seed network distribute their local seeds in order to contribute to the diversity of cultivated plants and to maintain the know-how related to seeds.
During this event, you will be able to meet active members of the network and bring the seeds you have harvested so that they can be evaluated.
Furthermore, Frank Adams, a seed producer in Luxembourg and co-founder of SEED asbl, will give a lecture on the proposed European regulation on "new genomic techniques" (NGT) for agriculture, which represents a paradigm shift for agriculture and food in the European Union. This topic should be of interest to everyone, as it concerns the future of our food.
