Annie Colère - Women's Month
As part of Women's Month, the town of Bettembourg invites you to a screening of the film Annie Colère, a committed dramatic comedy that takes us back to France in the 1970s.
In 1974, a year before the Veil Law was passed, Annie, a factory worker and mother of two, encountered the MLAC – the Movement for the Freedom of Abortion and Contraception. Within this group, which openly performed abortions that were still illegal, she discovered a space for solidarity, knowledge sharing, and activism. Her involvement in this fight for the right to abortion would profoundly transform her life.
