Conference: To each town, to each village its swallows
The press, scientists and nature lovers are noticing it: swallows are gradually disappearing from our towns and countryside.
Pesticides? Landscape degradation? Obstacles on migratory routes? Lack of nesting sites?
Probably a little bit of all of that at once…
But faced with this decline, should we simply observe... or act?
Since 2007, the Natagora – Swallow Working Group (GTH) has been taking on an ambitious challenge: to give these incredible migratory birds a place in our daily lives.
During this conference, Charlie Carels will share:
The strategies implemented by the GTH
Simple and effective methods to help swallows
Concrete actions, accessible to individuals as well as communities
Illustrated with numerous photos, this event is aimed at both ornithology enthusiasts and those simply curious about nature.
This evening is offered to you free of charge and without registration.
What if you were part of the solution?
