Planetary Landscaper
Join the Planetary Landscaper workshop and discover how small design choices can support biodiversity and transform your everyday environment.
This workshop invites you to explore ecological landscaping and transform any space (balcony, courtyard, or garden) into a living, sustainable, and inspiring ecosystem. Inspired by Gilles Clément, who describes the biosphere as a "planetary garden" where everyone becomes a "planetary gardener," it shows how simple, local actions can support global biodiversity.
After an introduction to the basics of landscaping—functionality, design, and biodiversity—you will work as a team to design a model ecological garden based on a given role and context.
The workshop concludes with project presentations followed by a personal reflection: what concrete action can I implement at home? The aim is to make landscaping and biodiversity immediately applicable in daily life.
This workshop is part of Studio Lokal, a dynamic initiative by Muse ASBL that brings together designers, artists, and local professionals to explore new trends, techniques, and opportunities in the creative sector.
