loop #36 — Samantha Wilvert (LU)
Through this succession of silent images, the artist searches in the landscape for what is missing here, in her country of birth where she grew up. For several years, she has been seeking to leave, no longer finding what she wants, having lost what connected her to this place. Today, she is in a new city, which has become her new home.
Using Super 8 for the first time, the camera becomes an extension of her arm, of her eyes, allowing her to explore the link between Luxembourg and Marseille since leaving for the latter.
