Conference: Disinformation as a Threat to Democracy and Peace in Europe
As part of the Advocacy Coalition – Defending Our Future Now, the Embassy of Romania and the Embassy of Poland in Luxembourg, in cooperation with European partners, is organizing a high-level conference dedicated to one of the most pressing challenges facing Europe today: disinformation as a tool of hybrid warfare.
The event will bring together representatives of European institutions, academia, and international experts to explore the impact of disinformation on democratic systems and present practical strategies to counter it.
The conference will feature two expert panels:
- Panel 1: Disinformation — Facts and Impact
- Panel 2: Countering Disinformation
Speakers include representatives of the European Commission in Luxembourg, experts in strategic communication and information warfare, representatives from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, academics from the University of Luxembourg, and experts on Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
