Nareh Arghamanyan started playing piano at the age of five and made her orchestral debut in Yerevan at only eight years old. At fourteen, she was admitted as the youngest student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (MDW), in the class of Heinz Medjimorec. She then continued her studies with Avedis Kouyoumdjian and Arie Vardi. Her international breakthrough occurred in 2008 when she won First Prize at the Montreal International Musical Competition. Since then, she has performed with numerous international orchestras. Nareh has recorded CDs for Pentatone, Sony Classical, Hänssler Classic, Analekta, and Ulysses Arts. Her album Femmes de Légende (Hänssler Classic) is nominated for the German Record Critics' Award 2026. Nareh lives in Vienna, where she combines her international concert career with a deep commitment to teaching and intercultural dialogue.
