Following S 62° 58', W 60° 39' (23-24) and the opera Dido & Aeneas (21-22), this season marks the return of the Flemish company Peeping Tom to the Grand Théâtre with its new creation, Chroniques, conceived and directed by its artistic director, Gabriela Carrizo. Rooted in Peeping Tom's poetic and offbeat universe, Chroniques tells the story of five characters trapped in a temporal labyrinth, mutating and colliding in an attempt to defy immortality. Endowed with remarkable physical flexibility, the five performers lead us into liminal spaces of continuous transformation. This performance explores bodily metamorphosis, combining theatrical materials and sound to create moving sculptures within living tableaux.
