Join us for an amazing full-moon walk across eastern Luxembourg, among the stunning fields of Manternach — an evening to slow down, look up, and experience the landscape under a different light.
THE LUMINOUS PATH
A 4.5 km, easy walk of about 2 hours through the fields of Manternach in eastern Luxembourg. We'll leave from Luxembourg Gare by train (RB 4819 towards Wasserbillig, stop at Manternach; journey approx. 35 min) for a gradual transition out of the city before the walk begins.
Under the Full Moon, the scenery becomes sharper, quieter, and more atmospheric. We'll observe the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, and some of the key spring constellations. We'll learn to recognize recurring patterns in the sky and let the slower rhythm of the night guide us.
To enrich the experience, a digital telescope will be available for a live demonstration, letting us view parts of the Universe invisible to the naked eye for a more immersive night under the stars.
For the return, we'll take the train back from Manternach Gare to Luxembourg City (last trains depart at 22:43 and 23:43). The evening is designed to be simple and restorative, with a slower pace and a different way of moving through the landscape.

Prices: 25 € / minors under 16: 10 €
Minors must be accompanied by a paying adult.
What to bring: sturdy shoes for uneven paths, clothes suited to evening temperature, small torch with red light if possible, water or a small drink for the walk.
