The Centre de Documentation sur les Migrations Humaines (CDMH), in collaboration with the Capverdean Associations Federation of Luxembourg (FACVL), the Centre national de l’audiovisuel (CNA), and the City of Dudelange, invites you to the premiere of the documentary film "INATTENDU – Un événement récurrent".

Directed by Aleida Vieira and Bernardino Tavares, this film follows the journeys of Cape Verdean families between Cape Verde, Portugal, and Luxembourg. Through their testimonies, the film shows that migratory paths are often complex and full of unforeseen events. The documentary addresses work, language, school, family, adaptation to a new country, and the way people find their place. It also highlights what is not always visible behind migration stories, between difficulties, hopes, and new possibilities.

The screening will be followed by a debate with guest speakers: Aleida Vieira, Antonia Ganeto, Bernardino Tavares, Ingrid de Saint-Georges, and José Henrique de Burgo Mendes.
