Theater - GIDAZÉPAM. survival manual in the French language - end of residency performance
GIDAZÉPAM. Survival manual in the French language, written and directed by Liudmyla Akhunova, Accent Garden Company.
To be a 'good refugee' might mean learning to survive in a language, a country, and expectations that are not your own. This phantasmagorical one-woman show follows a young Ukrainian woman who arrives in France after the outbreak of war. As she tries to adapt, her daily life drifts into a world of visions, dreams, and absurd situations. Guided by a Voice with many faces—administrative, imaginary, or inner—the actress moves through a shadow theatre universe where reality gradually cracks. A show about the Other, whose way of living may seem incomprehensible or even disturbing.
