Bringing together short films by Truffaut, Varda, and Rozier, this program captures the free and inventive spirit of a generation at the dawn of the New Wave. Filmed in the South of France rather than in Paris, the films already experiment with form, mixing playful narration, freedom of tone, and breaks from the conventions of classic cinema.
