For Edi Rama, drawing stems from a "need to find a balance between the inner gaze and the outer gaze", and from this practice emerge his sculptures and installations. In the spirit of automatic drawing that reveals the unconscious, and to improve his concentration and attentiveness, the artist draws during meetings and phone calls even within his office as Prime Minister of Albania. Using color as a means of creating social bonds, Edi Rama aimed to instill a sense of belonging and to foster exchanges among citizens. In Dimanche sans fin, Edi Rama presents the combination of a ceramic sculpture and a hand-embroidered screen created for the project, whose dialogue establishes a play on the open boundaries of the Wrong Gallery.
