Free guided tour of the exhibition "ΙΣΤΟΣ / WEB – Contemporary Artists’ Books" by Stefanie Zutter, Head of the Prints, Visual Arts and Architecture Department at the National Library of Luxembourg.
The exhibition explores the transformation of the artist's book in today's digital environment through the works of sixteen contemporary Greek and Luxembourgish artists. Installations, video projections, sculptures, photographs, and digital creations question the emergence of the book as an artistic experience and hybrid medium.
The exhibition space at Cercle Cité becomes an experiential library, where the dialogue between virtual and material, text and image, enriches reflection on the nature and agency of the artist's book today. The presentation also includes a selection of artists' books from the collections of the National Library of Luxembourg, highlighting the critical echoes between historical and contemporary works.
