Do I hear everything I see? Do I see everything I hear? In *La Ville en Bocal*, Les Harmoniques du Néon invite the audience to take their seats inside the large glass gallery of the Casino Luxembourg the Aquarium to see and listen to the performance’s main protagonist: reality.
Strange and singular, it is a “landscape-character” that offers us, through subtle, delightful details to observe, a poetry of everyday life. The musicians of the United Instruments of Lucilin ensemble are invited to play with it, taking advantage of the sounds and situations the street offers. They slip into this world with their own musicality and their bodies as instruments.
This unique encounter between the musicality of public space and instrumental music, between the inside and the outside, but also between the expected and the unpredictable, creates the conditions for a transformation of our perceptions, allowing us to hear and see differently.
