The renowned Cologne-based collective Soniq is the guest of Kasemattentheater. For this unique evening, the group presents their "Literature & Spoken Word" project as a narrative concert featuring texts by actress and singer Sascha Ley and poet Mitch Heinrich, performed by the authors themselves. Inspired by the novel "Victory City" by Indo-British author Salman Rushdie, the music, stories in English, and poetry in German place a magical, feminist India at the heart of this exceptional evening.

A linguistic-musical synthesis bringing together music, literature, poetry, and vocal arts.

Line-up:
- Christina Fuchs: saxophones, bass clarinet, glass harp
- Ramesh Shotham: percussion
- Jarry Singla: piano, harmonium
- Sascha Ley: vocals, narration
- Mitch Heinrich: sound poetry
