With CeCiL’s Box, Cercle Cité supports local creation by highlighting the work of emerging and young artists from the Greater Region in one of its showcases on rue du Curé. This mini-exhibition space, visible 24/7, hosts unique and temporary artistic interventions in the field of visual and applied arts, with the aim of arousing passers-by’s curiosity and questioning collective imagination.

The 40th intervention is entrusted to the artist Sarah Schleich and is titled breathe.

The artwork was developed for the showcase in the urban context of Luxembourg. Inside, a sewn word "breathe" in linen and cotton floats among mirrors and shimmering strips, creating a constantly transforming visual environment. Passers-by perceive both the installation and fragments of their own reflection and the street.

In contrast with the urban rhythm, the work offers a contemplative interruption, inviting people to refocus on the perception of the moment. The installation acts as an invitation to dedicate a brief moment of attention within the city’s movement.
