But good news! The City of Luxembourg has put together a program and a contest to celebrate the traditional "Groussherzogsgebuertsdag" (the Grand Duke's birthday).
Hey psssst, a little scoop!Did you know that the Grand Duke is traditionally celebrated on the 23rd of June ... but in reality, it's not his birthday at all! 😂 It is mainly for climatic reasons that this date was chosen.
WHAT'S THE PROGRAM?
On the program for this June 23rd, for a National Day in 100% local colors 🇱🇺, the City of Luxembourg invites you to celebrate at home with your friends (in accordance with sanitary rules)
If you are a resident of Luxembourg City, you will receive in your mailbox a brochure with great recipes to make for a gourmet, local and festive menu! Everything to impress your guests and enjoy the night.You will also have the opportunity to get this little manual, goodies and a flag garlands in the colours of Luxembourg, by going to the market on one of the following dates:
Bouneweger Maart - Bonnevoie - 15/06 - afternoon
Stater Maart - Hamilius - 16/06 and 19/06 - morning
Glacismaart - Champ du Glacis - 20/06 - morning
All you have to do is set the table, turn up the sound, and get in the mood of your choice! 💃🕺
