___BUT FIRST, BREAKFAST
We start the day with the most important thing of all: breakfast! There's nothing like a champion breakfast to build up your strength and kick-start your Metz escapade. So we're heading for Place de la République, to P'tit Dessert, a cosy little tearoom bursting with all kinds of sweet and savoury treats 🤤
Brioche perdue, avocado toast, cookies... all accompanied by a good hot chocolate ☕️

___POM POLOPOM PIDOU
Metz's first must-see venue is the famous Centre Pompidou Metz for an artistic break. There's nothing like wandering between the different exhibitions in the Big Top. If you're an architecture buff, you really must go upstairs, where you can discover the incredible hexagonal wooden structure that gives the place such an unusual shape.
Our current favourite: the "Worldbuiling" exhibition on video games and art in the digital age 👾

___SHOPPING BREAK
If, like us, you're a fan of concept stores, we'd like to introduce you to Tête D'affiche, the poster and illustration shop in rue Gambetta. Here, as the name suggests, you'll find posters in all shapes and colours, inspired and created by Elvine. What better way to liven up your office, or your home 🖼️
The little extra? Upstairs there's a cosy corner with vintage sofas, just like a co-working space 🛋️

After shopping for a while on Rue Serpenoise, your tummy starts to rumble and it's time to go and enjoy a good meal. We'll take you to "Bouillon Batignolles", a small, authentic, vintage bistro serving a range of regional specialities, including a good beef bourguignon, not forgetting a chocolate mousse for dessert 🍫
