From September 16 to 20, the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg will be in full swing. Five days of racing, plenty of kilometers to cover, scenic routes to traverse, and a yellow jersey up for grabs. And once again this year, Lidl will be on board as the Official Fresh Food Partner. That’s right, once again this year, Lidl is hitting the road alongside the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg as the Official Fresh Food Partner! And because the Tour is also an opportunity to get together and have a good time, you don’t have to be on a bike to be part of the race. During the five days of the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg, Lidl will be right in the thick of the action with various activities: tastings of fresh products at each stage, products available in the VIP area, and a variety of entertainment options throughout the event 😎
1 LAP, 5 STAGES, AND QUITE A FEW KILOMETERS TO COVER
And speaking of experiencing the Tour, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on the route! The 2026 edition will take the peloton to all corners of the country, with five stages featuring very different profiles 🇱🇺
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16
The race kicks off on September 16 at Knuedler, right in the heart of Luxembourg City. After 157.4 km on Luxembourg’s roads, the riders will return to the capital for a finish at the Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart. It’s the perfect way to kick things off, with the first leader’s jersey up for grabs 🎽
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17
The next day, the race heads to Differdange/Niederkorn, with a finish in Junglinster after 166.8 km. The peloton will pass through the Côte de Mousel, the Müllerthal, and Echternach before tackling the final circuit! This stage could very well be a dream come true for the sprinters!
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
On Friday, things are set to get seriously tough. The queen stage, between Wiltz and Diekirch, will cover 187.3 km and traverse the northern part of the country. Climbs, elevation changes, and nearly 190 kilometers to make a difference before the next day’s time trial 🚵🏻♂️
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19
This Saturday, it’s time for the race where every second counts: a 20,4-km individual time trial in Ettelbruck. Fast, technical, and particularly important for the overall standings, it could very well shake things up before the final day!
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20
And to wrap up the 2026 edition, the riders will set off from Mersch and head to Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, with 177.4 km on the schedule and a final stretch through the capital that could hold a few surprises 🏁
But you don’t have to be a cycling expert to enjoy the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg. The best part is choosing your own stage, finding a nice spot along the route, and coming out to watch the riders go by with family or friends 🚲
