Looking for a relaxing getaway, a place to unwind and pamper yourself without going far? We tested the Mercure Luxembourg Kikuoka Golf & Spa, and we can tell you it's a real gem, just 20 minutes from the city.

There, a whole world awaits you: a 4-star hotel nestled in a magnificent natural setting with a 180° panoramic view of the GOLF course, perfect for a romantic getaway, a family getaway, or even a professional break. The moment you walk through the door, the journey begins: a delicate scent diffused in the air immediately sets the mood. For us, it signaled the beginning of disconnection, as if we were on vacation.

THE M'SPA
400 m² dedicated to relaxation with sauna, hammam, heated indoor pool, jacuzzi and much more. A true cocoon of tranquility, where you can be lulled by the birdsong... Yes, that's true luxury. After a sauna session, we loved sipping a little lemon water, alternating between the lounge chairs in the relaxation room with a little book and those outside to sunbathe, unwind in the jacuzzi and do a few laps facing nature.
A regular told us that he comes once a week to recharge his batteries because, "there aren't two places like this in Luxembourg."

THE RESTAURANT AND THE BAR
For gourmet delights, we fell for the Bistro Um Scheierhaff, with its south-facing terrace and panoramic views of the golf course. The chef serves local cuisine, and between courses, we loved sipping cocktails while gazing at the lush greenery stretching as far as the eye could see. And a bonus: a little fox came to say hello during our meal!
And there's also the Eagle Bar, ideal for sharing a small board while enjoying the view.
The little extra: before or after the meal, challenge your loved ones to a game of pool!

THE HOTEL
The rooms? Spacious, elegant, with a superb view of the golf course. Picture this: hot coffee in hand, you open the curtains upon waking and watch the early-morning golfers begin their round. A true moment of calm and serenity to start your day off right. And what can I say about breakfast, other than it was a feast? Fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, fresh orange juice, artisanal apple juice, granola to personalize with lots of toppings... On Sundays, the buffet expands to offer an oh-so-delicious brunch menu! Sweet and savory petits fours, mini-burgers, gourmet coffee-style desserts... a real treat. The icing on the cake: a glass of crémant (or a non-alcoholic cocktail) is included in the menu.

Oh, and a little tidbit: the hotel's name comes from Madame Kikuoka, its first owner of Japanese origin. A touch of history that adds even more charm to this already unique place.

Good to know

If you're looking to unwind after a busy week, they also offer Brunch & Spa packages, ideal for a relaxing gourmet break.

The pool and jacuzzi are accessible to children, while the spa area is reserved for those over 16.
You can also extend the experience by booking a massage (reservation essential).
