A journey through time
Dive into the unique world of the Esch-sur-Sûre Drapery Museum, a place where time has stood still (but creativity flies by at full speed!)
This charming place has been given a new lease on life thanks to the Haute-Sûre Nature Park, which is determined to dust off its traditions... without missing a beat. Spoiler: it's a resounding success!
Behind its historic walls, the "Duch vum Séi" range is still woven today. At the time, it was THE local drapery, with spinning machines installed as early as 1807 (thanks to Martin Schoetter-Greisch for the local industrial revolution!). Closed in 1975, it has come back to life, much to our delight and that of fans of authentic wool.
What you'll find there: Blankets, scarves, tablet cases, makeup bags, and even "reading bones" (sounds intriguing, right? Come see!).
You won't be able to leave empty-handed: everything made here is for sale on site. Original, locally sourced, and 100% stylish gifts to please someone (or yourself).
You can also book a guided tour to see the vintage machines come to life before your eyes and discover all the stages of fabric manufacturing.
