Actart concert: The serenades of melusin'art
It's a pleasant summer evening, you open the windows of your balcony to let a gentle breeze enter your bedroom. But what tickles your ear? The pleasant sounds of the horn, the clarinet, the cello and the piano rise up to you and captivate your senses. Let yourself be musically seduced by the serenades of the Ensemble Melusin'Art, with an exquisite and unique program! Attend the world premiere of the trio “… and the time was flying away” by the young Luxembourg composer Ivan Boumans. Dedicated to the Ensemble Melusin'Art, this trio for clarinet, horn and piano attempts the big gap between the dominance of the metronome and the suspension of time. Carl Czerny, known today above all for his educational work, has just been rediscovered as a chamber music composer: his splendid Grande Sérénade Concertante for pianoforte, clarinet, horn and cello does not, however, hide the traces of his mentor , Ludwig van Beethoven. Respected musician, teacher and famous composer, Robert Kahn on the other hand had to witness his fall into oblivion after his forced exile during the Third Reich. His Serenade in F minor for clarinet, horn and piano is of such beauty that it deserves to be rediscovered.
