"In these places with collected atmospheres, a power descends on us which calms us. I like to linger there, alone, to reflect, to meditate. I also like what a church represents: this manifestation of the faith of men for God. It is this faith that builds churches. I compare it to my art which also arouses immense devotions. We believe in something, we commune with the beauty. we love to believe that, of all time, each artist has made his contribution to the construction of the immense cathedral that is lyrical art.
