Bobbi Lu describes her music as “classic piano and dark, raw synths that together made a baby.” The tone is set: somewhere between ambient and dream pop, the superpositions of melodic layers and deep bass, combined with the silky voice of Bobbi Lu, reveal influences like FKA Twigs, Grimes or James Blake. The young Englishwoman living in Belgium cut her teeth supporting Sylvie Kreusch and The Haunted Youth in particular, and will release her first album this year.
