As a complex living system, soil is a central life support for plants, animals and people. Erosion and loss of biodiversity threaten soils and their fertility. Faced with the constant increase in the world population, soil protection is therefore imperative. The “Schatzkëscht Buedem” exhibition covers several topics, namely the formation of soils, the different types of soil, the organisms that live there, the exploitation and protection of soils, and architecture. Several moving elements make the information palpable and allow everyone to make experiments and observations. A worm terrarium and a mushroom box bring the exhibition to life.
