During the complicated period of Covid and isolation, Jean-Marie Liégeois wanted to compose a violin concerto for a very talented musician: Jehanne Strepenne.
The concerto is a musical journey rocked between natural tenderness and the struggles of life that we sometimes encounter around us... The key of G minor corresponds to the frequency that gives me emotional vibrations.
The composer gave full freedom to his creativity, which resulted in a very advanced violin technique. The concerto is in three movements. Jehanne Strepenne on violin and Claude Kraus on piano
