Exposition: The last point. The colored work of Francis Kirtz
"It has to look beautiful, and a painting is finished when it is beautiful" Francis Kirtz once said about the crucial moment when an artist decides when a painting is finished, and when he lets go of the painting and hands it over. Born in 1958 in Bieles in the south, Francis was drawn to the north early on, where he worked, among other things, in the candle factory, and from 2011 his artistic talent can be demonstrated at COOPERATIONS. Francis Kirtz will retire in 2023. His work was art, and art his work. The last point in his colorful pointillism paintings has long since dried up, Francis Kirtz no longer paints, but we give him one last round of honor and show his works of art once again in the Prabbeli Gallery. In this exhibition we celebrate Francis and his work, and everything he did at and for COOPERATIONS.
