Medieval bestiary in illuminations
The medieval bestiary, a fascinating world where imagination and reality meet, is a captivating subject of study for historians, artists and culture enthusiasts. We have the honor to invite you to a unique conference of its kind, dedicated to the exploration of these fantastic creatures as they appear in medieval illuminations. This journey through time will allow you to discover the symbolism, beliefs and artistic techniques that gave life to these extraordinary beings through illuminated manuscripts.
Isabelle Bernard-Lesceux has already come twice to present a conference in Athus. She is a historian and was a history professor in Differt and Luxembourg as well as head of the D'Millen cultural center in Beckerich.
