An unexpected cocktail of hip hop dance, singing and burlesque in the funny and aesthetic scenography. A crossover of styles that goes beyond all stereotypes and brings together all generations. In a New York speakeasy for regulars, with a humid and electric atmosphere, five alcoholic mafiosos tear apart a voluptuous pin-up to Miles Davis, James Brown, and Betty Boop. Several styles rub shoulders, and are deconstructed on The swing from the 20s and 30s. House dance, light and airy, flirts with the frenzied steps of the charleston. Breakdancing swirls with Lindy Hop and delirious freestyle hip hop with An Explosive Jitterbug. Dance N' Speak Easy thus revisits the troubled years of Prohibition in the United States, playing on African-American musical references from the 1920s to the present day, including blaxploitation of the 1970s and gangsta rap of the 1990s. The Wanted Posse company is today one of the big names in international hip hop!
