The exact origins of flamenco, this artistic expression typical of Andalusia combining song, dance, and guitar, remain uncertain. This is perhaps one of the reasons for the enduring fascination with this art, which was born from the mixture of Arab and Jewish cultures, and that of the gypsies who arrived in Spain from the 15th century onward. The idea of this first collaboration between the FlamencoFestivalEsch and the Conservatory is part of the strategy of opening up to new styles and new audiences by associating with partners from other horizons who share this same philosophy.
