Judas Priest is a legendary British metal band from Birmingham, formed in 1969 by guitarist K.K. Downing and bassist Ian Hill. They would be the nucleus of musicians that would go on to change the face of the genre.
Known as pioneers of heavy music, Judas Priest has an incredible impact with Rob Halford’s powerful, wide-ranging vocals, their groundbreaking twin-guitar attack, and electrifying, pyrotechnic stage performances. They are often credited with inspiring the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and popularizing the iconic 'metal biker' look.
