This year again, the Museum « A Possen » is celebrating the custom of the « Trauliicht ». On Saturday, October 26, children aged 6 to 12 will have the opportunity to actively participate in this fascinating tradition. With the help of our mediator, young participants will learn step by step how to transform a beet into a « Trauliicht ». At the beginning of the workshop, the beet is hollowed out, then the children create and carve a scary face that will bring their « Trauliicht » to life.

At the end of this creative afternoon, each child will proudly leave with their own « Trauliicht » – a true piece of art that is meant to be frightening!

And of course, all the little visitors are invited to dress up for this special occasion! An exciting and creative afternoon filled with fun, crafts, and delicious treats.

Good to know

The gourmet break includes a soup made from leftover vegetables to give the young artists more energy after their creative effort.
